Maaseutukehitys is a local action group situated in Central Finland. Area is including 5 municipalities: Hankasalmi, Joutsa, Konnevesi, Luhanka and Toivakka. About 15 000 inhabitants are living in the region.
The LAG was organized into a non-profit association in 1997. All of the five municipalities are participating in our LAG as well as local associations, companies and individuals.
Our LAG has a local development strategy which aims to improve the quality of life in our area. The key actors in implementing this development strategy are local people, companies and associations.
